imagine having your eyes filled with tears and you can't blink until the very last page. Elizabeth Acevedo grabs your heart with every word and just holds onto it so tight. I bought this book the second it was released because Acevedo is one of the most amazing writers and I am always blown away by her stories. With losing my dad unexpectedly this book meant so much to me. please prepare yourself as much as you can when reading this one. I highly recommend everything Acevedo writes.
