No One to Trust
by Lynette Eason
So this book was kind of a disappointment for me but I wasn't expecting to love this book. So I was having a hard time picking a book that really interested me for this challenge so I ended up going to Overdrive and searching till I found this book.
The premise of the story is that Summer and Kevin are supposed to spend the day together off after Kevin comes back from a business trip and Summer just takes the day off but instead of having just a quiet day together stuff goes down and Summer is swept into the real life of Kevin.
At first I was intrigued by this book but I thought that this was going to be more of a steamy romance mystery and it definitely was not. This is actually more of a mystery with strong Christian messages, which I am not mad about just didn't know that faith was going to be such a big deal in this book. The faith part of this book was actually one of the things I enjoyed about this book.
The thing that I didn't like was the villain felt like a mustache twirling type villain and I am just not really a fan of that kind of character. I also didn't like that Summer spends the whole book "trying to be mad" at Kevin because he lied but her inner self is always saying how she isn't mad at him.
Overall this was just a meh book for me and I will not be continuing the series.
