The acknowledgements section is worth a read - the author explains a bit (in a way I can sympathize with) why it took a while for this book to be done (and perhaps why it may not have quite the same feel as it’s predecessor). This is a good read - albeit abt complicated criminal activity that doesn’t make for the most page turning reading - yet some of the futuristic settings, action scenes, and dialogue make up for it where Scalzi’s humor shines .
