The Amazing Spider-Man: Big Time - The Complete Collection, Vol. 3 by Dan Slott, Mark Waid, Christopher Yost
2.0

Big Time is starting to feel like most of Brand New Day. What's that mean for me? A lot of small spider-man stories with one or two sticking and the rest so forgettable you wonder what you just read. Big Time has a Daredevil Crossover (Which already read), A Two parter trying to save the future. A Johnny Storm + Spider-man team up. And then the big bang, Sinister Six is back! What worked? What didn't? Let's break it down.

What I liked: The cross over was good but read it in Daredevil. Felt odd placed here. Still, enjoyable story. I also thought the two parter about trying to fix the future was fun (a little dumb) but fun. I also really enjoyed Johnny and Pete's chemistry even if the story itself involving them was just okay at best.

What I didn't like: The whole second half is just...overstuffed silliness. Sinister six have defeated THE AVENGERS? WUT? Lol just no. Also the story is just overblown and felt overely long. We knew SPidy would figure a way. The stakes were never high. And the end result of him being mad at himself was dumb. This "No One Dies" seems SO...many steps back for this character IMO. Also the art is sometimes great other times really odd (Why do all the women have size E tits?)

Overall Big Time is starting to wear thin. I'm trying to get through it to get to Superior and finally give the "best Dan Slott" run a chance. However, big time is tendering towards the boring side in this last arc. Hope the 4th collection is better. A 2.5/5
