Voor jou
by Jojo Moyes, Anna Livestro
It was a really touching story (and I love Wills humor!), but unfortunatly the end was spoiled for me, so I was just reading towards it. I have resprect for Lou, and I do understand Will and his point of view but I also don't completely get it. I think, no I hope, my point of view will be different in such a situation, but you can never know that of course.
It was nice to read a whole book in a weekend. But i dod not cry, I think because the ending was spoiled. Such a shame. Stupid library with its one-sentence discription of book two when I made the reservation for that XD my bookclub reads this duology this month, and because I wanted to make sure to get it on time I already made a reservation.. which spoiled this whole book XD
If I wasn't spoiled, it would have been more touching, I would have had more ways to identify with Lou because of the hope and insecureness about what will happen. Now, it felt a bit like I was an alknowing God or something.
I do want to see the movie, because I like Wills humor and I think it will be a nice movie. I also want to read book 2, because I'm curious to how this story will continue.
EDIT:I read this critique on this book and I really liked this blogpost and it really opened my eyes: https://crippledscholar.wordpress.com/2016/05/21/why-are-you-complaining-some-people-actually-feel-that-way-a-critique-of-me-before-you/
