Etiquette for Runaways by Liza Nash Taylor
4.0

What a beautiful Historical Fiction book.
May is not having a great go of life at the moment. Expelled from college, she helps her father in his moonshine business. He gets busted and she has the chance she's always wanted...to run away to New York to try her hand at being a seamstress. Her travels also take her to Paris... Where she descends into drinking and drugs at the hand of some friends. Some will betray her and she will be a lifeline.

This is a very vivid portrayal of what chasing your dreams can do. They can be wonderful and they can also come with trouble. The way New York and Paris are described in this golden age is amazing and makes you feel as if you are right there.
