Could’ve been great, was only okay. The plot was not developed enough and the book read very YA despite being an adult novel. The FMC constantly was captured by her enemies and did not develop her relationship with characters outside of the MMC. She said she was friend with characters but the reader only saw what they could do for her. The book ends on a cliffhanger, but the author could have made this a standalone.
