The perfect start to a new series! I loved this book and I think you will too. Lena Hendrix writes small town romances SO DAMN WELL. Wyatt is a dirty talking, grumpy, ex-NFL player who has his little girl wrapped around his finger and has a heart of gold. He's the perfect book boyfriend and this book is a wonderful take on the single parent/nanny romance trope. I swooned so many times while reading and I also audibly screamed during some of these scenes. Lark really found herself in this story, one where she finds her home among the unlikeliest of places and discovers what she truly wants out of life, and how what she thought she wanted wasn't the case at all. The relationship between Lark and Penny and the awesome cast of characters was amazing, and melted my heart over and over again. Lark and Wyatt had very palpable chemistry! They were HOT, and really were perfect for each other. There was no third act breakup, which I loved. I loved getting to know Outtatowner, Michigan and cannot wait for the next book in the series!
