This author writes real women with real issues. A woman feels her looks are no longer acceptable for her very public persona and this story is her journey to acceptance and body positivity. If you are a fan of older couples who are real, this book is for you. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were fantastic portraying the two POVs. The spice was really well done and appropriate for the story. If you are not a fan of spice, do yourself a favor and don't read this. You will miss a huge part of the story context. I personally, like to see real people having real relationships with all its ups and downs. This book has a touch of magic, not too much, just enough to make it magical.
