The Wicked + The Divine, Vol. 3: Commercial Suicide
by Brandon Graham, Jamie McKelvie, Leila del Duca, Stephanie Hans, Kieron Gillen, Tula Lotay, Kate Brown
This was so disappointing.
- Weird, disjointed storylines
- No evolution in character arcs
- What was UP with the art in this one?
Now I'm usually never one to complain about guest artists, but .. I REALLY wish they'd invited artists whose style matched the tone and atmosphere of the writing.
TBH, the art in vol 1 + 2 was what got me hooked. I'm reluctant to keep reading if it doesn't get back on track. The constant switching of art styles in this one gave me terrible whiplash.
