I feel like I must be about the only person in the world who feels this way, but this book just didn't do it for me. I really like the actual story, but the way the book is executed really bored me. I listened to the audiobook and I thought the voice actors often sounded really contrived. I actually found it quite hard to follow if the document wasn't a chat record or a description of footage.

I also found it really hard to connect or care about the characters, plus the "twists" were really obvious to me. As well as this, there seems to be a lot missing from the plot. We're now two books into what I think is a trilogy, and we're yet to learn why any of this has happened or any real details about it. It's a shame because I think the idea is brilliant, and the story is great - I just wish it were told completely differently!
