This was such a touching story, something that I think of lot of people could relate to either as teens currently going through high school and adolescence, or as adults reminiscing on teenage years. The format of a graphic novel makes the heavier aspects of the story easier to digest. The resources at the back of the book are a kind addition. I would recommend protecting your peace before diving into this if alcoholism or suicidal thoughts/attempts are triggering for you. Just because this can be a quick read doesn't mean that it can't tap into a well of emotions, and the added layer of imagery, while I believe were done with care, could still be very triggering for some people.
Moderate: Alcoholism, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide attempt
