kellee 's review for:
The Sculptor
by Scott McCloud
IMHO, teenagers will probably like this book better than adults would. Its about finding yourself, discovering your purpose, and making your dreams come true. Its dramatic, with mostly young adults as characters. Kinda like an ABC family show.
If you're an adult, some parts of the book are definitely unrealistic. Some thoughts I had: How do these kids afford to live in NYC? How are they all orphans? How do they afford health insurance for their mental health problems..? Why is it always the girl who has to initiate things?!?!?
If you can ignore these types of things, give this graphic novel a chance.
