I am not going to lie, this is the first Tillie Cole book I have read, and it probably wasn't the smartest thing to jump in 3 books into the series, but I did and I will be going back to read the first two books ASAP.

It did take me a little while (about 40%) to really get into Ravage (again I think this is because I have not read the earlier books) but once I got past this stage I was full steam ahead, couldn't put it down, into it.

Ravage is a dark, gritty book full of suspense. At times I wanted to read through my fingers as I wasn't sure I would like what was coming next. Who was the good guy? Who could I trust? Who would be at the end of a Bratva/Mafia gun barrel next?

There was enough back story that I did not feel I was being left behind by the story (this could be read as as stand alone) and it really has piqued my interest to go and read Raze and Reap sooner rather than later.

I am sure that this series will not be the only Tillie Cole I read in the future
