I used to think a surprise pregnancy trope wasn’t for me and then I’ve read several over the last year that I absolutely loved, so I was SO wrong. I think if it’s done right it can be such an amazing trope and friends, it was done so incredibly well here. I was also obsessed with the first book and just utterly delighted to be back in this world, Magnolia was a character I needed to know more about and she is such a firecracker, she cracked me up so many times with her larger than life personality. Tripp is a top tier book boyfriend, the way he takes care of Magnolia in what seems like the smallest of ways really adds up to mean so much to her. The Hollis family as a whole is quickly becoming one of my favorite fictional families, they are all so funny and entertaining. This one was also pretty spicy, the mouth on both Tripp and Magnolia had me blushing but I loved them together so much. If you like BFFs brother, surprise pregnancy, small town, cowboy, and forced proximity with a dash of suspense this one was so freaking good
