The Three Night Stand
by Roxie Noir
This is my first book by Noir and I was delighted! I was a little hesitant with the first chapter - I'm all for embracing your sexuality in any manner you want but there was just something about it. Maybe the way we were just thrown into it or Noir's word choices or ... I don't know. But it sure didn't take me long to appreciate Javier and Madeline together.
Their relationship is steamy and humorous and caring. They are unsure about what their connection could mean but they keep coming back together, making mistakes along the way, and having to be brave to get what they want. Javier has a lot against him but Madeline appreciates him, supports him, and shows him the unconditional love that he needs.
This group has made a family in Sprucevale and I couldn't get enough of them. It's got all the heat and heart and happiness that you could ever need. The Three Night Stand may have been my first of Noir's books but it definitely won't be my last.
(Part of a series but can be read on its own.)
**I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.**
