Wow this book gripped me from start to finish.

It's about 4 teenagers who live on an island in the summers and then discover they have super powers and have to stop an alien invasion.

I'm lying of course.

I think what fascinated me from the get go is the totally unreliable narrator. I felt like I never had any idea what was going on but it wasn't a bad thing. It was just the story.

Now for spoilers.

The climax really broke my heart. The dogs I think almost more than the people. That was awful to read. This book says so much about what keeps families together and tears them apart. It was so interesting to read.

Very quick and easy read for anyone.
