Good until the ending

I loved the back and forth between Nix and Lib, but once the real struggle came into the plot I lost all affection for Lib. She acted very selfish and as a mom I can’t understand her thinking. Even the resolution felt rushed and one sided. The epilogue didn’t resolve any issues or feelings either, felt unnecessary.
