Now this is what I call real cliterature. I don’t know what mood I was in when I started it but BOY was I in the MOOD for this one. I was non-stop screaming, giggling, kicking my feet the entire first 100 pages. It was super hot ofc but also like so sweet?? Idk man I couldn’t get enough of all 4 of them. It was almost like cuteness aggression with how much I was clawing at my screen and screeching bc I just loved it so much. I ended up with 105 annotations. What can I say, it was quite the memorable read. A masterpiece in my eyes.

Pretty sure like 80% of this book is pure vampire smut and I did in fact live for it. I love any why choose but polyam is always my fave kind and a rare treat for me. There was still a plot though if you squint really hard, tilt your head a bit, and hold it up to the light you can see the shadow of it. This book was originally 3 so it’s split into parts and honestly all the plot is in the last 150 pages at which point I was kinda like, is all this even necessary? Can we get back to the fun lol. It was still very enjoyable though and with a pretty cool world, but nothing too complex or dragged out and with a HEA.

The characters were all great.  You get introduced to them one at a time and the relationships between each of them gets their own time to develop individually which I really liked.

Despite minimal character development everyone has a backstory that adds to the emotions and builds up the romance enough to where you’re actually rooting for them to be together not just to boink each other’s brains out, though that happens a lot too. Definitely all still insta-attraction with some good old forced proximity and magical bonds. Basically, “I don’t want to want you but I need you to need me too and I hate that I don’t hate it because I actually love how you love me.” Perfection. 👌🏼

I originally saw the collectors edition at the bookstore and had been eyeing it for months knowing absolutely nothing about it. Eventually I was like ok let me try reading it on KU and can  buy it if I like it. Well I finished it within 48 hrs. Not only did I read the kindle version all day, that night, I bought it on audible too so I could keep reading while my eyes were closed 💀

So now I essentially have 3 copies in all formats and I have zero regrets. Honestly one of my favorite reads. I could not stop thinking about it since starting and I see myself continuing to think about it for days to come.
