Pitifully Ugly by Robin Alexander

I loved the writing. I laughed so hard at one point my wife had to ask if I was okay. I cried happy tears at another point.

On the negative side, a bit too much miscommunication. I also wish we got to know the love interest more—the main character even commented near the end that she didn’t feel like she knew her very well at all, and then did nothing to remedy that. Lastly, the emphasis on the main character needing to lose weight to be attractive was pretty bad.

I do want to read more from Robin Alexander though. I can see why so many people love her books.
