I heard a lot about the dual timeline and didn't think I would love it. I did, it added to the angst. The hero is too good for this, he's precious and raw and loved being in his POV as he navigates this complicated relationship with a flighty heroine. I enjoyed 80% of this book and rolled my eyes at the last 20. Hero is like a pathetic dog begging for scraps, loved that, but he also deserves better.
The audiobook was excellent, Teddy Hamilton can talk my socks off.
