Taming Kane by Tessa Stone
5.0

This was my second time reading this book—and let me tell you, diving into it immersively this time around made all the difference. I didn’t just read it—I lived it.

Tami flees to Wintermoon after overhearing her roommate’s boyfriend plotting something vile—plans to force her into unthinkable situations with him and his friends. Terrified and desperate for safety, she runs... straight into the heart of a town filled with shifters, secrets, and supernatural mystery. And then—bam—an accident leaves her in the arms of the one person who was literally made for her: her fated mate.

I was hooked all over again. Wintermoon being a haven for supernatural beings? Genius. And the small-town vibe? It made the whole world feel so real and grounded amidst the magic. I love it!

Now let’s talk about Kane. Whew. When I say this man was OBSESSED with Tami? I mean fully, unapologetically, ride-or-die obsessed. He was possessive in the most adorable, intense way—like, “she’s mine and I’ll burn the world down for her” levels. And honestly? I ate it up. Sure, his obsession put him at odds with his family, and yeah, his brother was doing the most with the disrespect—but it added so much depth to their dynamic.

Gabe? Comic relief KING. He had me laughing while still being a protective force Tami could count on. And Tami’s backstory? Heavy, yes—but not overwhelming. It made her strength shine, and made Kane’s fierce loyalty all the more meaningful.

The way their trust built up was so believable—and the chemistry? Off. The. Charts.

I adored this book even more the second time. It’s magical, emotional, sexy, and just the right amount of wild. I didn’t just enjoy it—I devoured it. Again.
