Amazing Spider-Man: Venom Inc.
by Dan Slott
Well I just finished Venom: Homecoming when I read this and saw Lee in here. I was worried this would suck as bad as that. It didn't.
So what's it about? This gets together Brock, Flash, and Spidy all together to face off against Lee and his army of venom. It's a crazy, 90's like, comic that kind of just has a bunch of big fights that all leads to Brock being venom, Flash being Agent Anti Venom, and Spider-man being...well Spider-man. Oh yeah, and Lee becomes a big Godzilla like Venom.
Good: The fights are pretty great. The humor keeps up throughout and Flash and Spider-man together are pretty great. Also thought the pacing was solid as it was never boring.
Bad: The storyline is nothing special and reminds me of the 90's crossover events, but not in a good way. I also thought Lee as a main enemy was again the weakest part, the dude just sucks.
Overall a fun little event storyline that can read all on it's own. A 3 out of 5.
