I think I would have been a lot more into this a few years ago. It was good, I enjoyed it even though it was a little slow at points. It reminded me a lot of Red Queen. The whole premise does annoy me a little, I mean does no one have any critical thinking skills?

The whole reason ordinarys are killed is because the king told everyone that they have an illness that makes people lose their powers. BUT the enforcer, Kai, has met multiple families who still have their powers after living with ordinarys. Yet, he never thinks or mentions this to his brother. Kai and Kitt literally never talk about anything important.
