Where can I find me a hot immortal who'll do anything for me??? 

As always Sue Lynn Tan has a way with words that make her world so vivid and alive, and gives you such pleasure to read it. 

Liyen is a young ruler who's trying to save her kingdom from the unjust rule of The Golden Desert, while also fighting her attraction to the God of War. 

I loved Liyen and Zhangwei's relationship. They're so good together and that scene 🤭 (I see you Sue). 

My only complaint is that I felt this needed to be a duology, the story was underdeveloped and there was so much that needed to be explored. The info dump at 70% of the book needed more refinement. 

In conclusion, I still loved this book and I recommend this if you love destined lovers.
