A Court of Wings and Ruin
by Sarah J. Maas
Wow. I felt like a lot happened in this book, though that seems to be Sarah J. Maas's writing style. Because that definitely happened in Throne of Glass too. Not a bad thing, but there felt like a lot of back and forth until they finally figured out what to do.
I still like the second book in the series the most. There was more character development there, and while we got to meet more people in this one, I wanted the main characters to develop, transform a little more.
Everything always comes with an ultimatum, too. The world building is still amazing, and everything sounds beautiful. All in all, an intricate, entertaining series.
