The Tale of a Thousand Faces

Def can feel the Hilda and Adventure Time inspo coming off ths thing! Not bad at all, but a bit underwhelming with almost overwhelming illustrations at time, some of the pages are very busy which is a stylistic choice I understand and respect but not one I prefer, particularly when in color.
Speaking of color--super gorgeous colors in this! Sign language is one of those things things that is deceptively difficult to illustrate despite being a visual language, because it really relies on movement which is hard to show in a book. It's genuinely hard to strike that balance-- I also was a bit confused on what was sign/speech due to the many colors used for boxes and it wasn't always super obvious
