Loved this book so much! The plot was well paced and the author is a wonderful writer. There was no lags when you were wondering why the story was not moving faster. There is a little romance, but it shows up late and doesn’t overrun the whole story. The setting was unique and the descriptions allowed you to visualize the scenes. No overuse of useless similes or metaphors. Just really good writing.

Fable was a protagonist who you knew you were rooting for. Her story is intriguing and I never found myself disliking her.

So ready for book 2!
