Bad Judgment
by Meghan March
**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net**Bad Judgment is a new adult standalone romance by author Meghan March. This is the first book that I have read by Meghan and I am seriously kicking myself for that, because Bad Judgment is one of my favorite books I have read all year. I loved it so much, I wish I could drop everything I am doing right now and read it again. I love a book with a law school setting. (yes, I know I am a weirdo, but it gives me some sort of sick pleasure watching characters deal with the joy of law school.) Everything about Bad Judgment was perfection to me. The characters were great, the romance was scorching and setting was very accurately portrayed. Someone point me in the direction of all Meghan's other books ASAP because I feel a binge read coming on.
Bad Judgment is told in dual narrative between Justine and Ryker. Justine is an uber committed law student that has just had her scholarship yanked, and Ryker is...well, the only thing Ryker is focused on, is Justine. I love a good slow burn romance, and I really love a guy with laser focus like Ryker. There is something to be said for his level of persistence. I know Justine has always thought he was just in it for the chase, but I never once got that impression from him. Ryker and Justine have an awesome build up to an absolutely stunning and explosive slow burn romance. I cannot get the two of them out of my head. I love them so much.
I think Bad Judgment is a must read romance for fans of new adult/grad school romances. I love a good build up and this is one of the best slow burn romances I have read all year. (maybe even longer.) Without becoming even more gushy, I will simply say this. I think this is a do not miss book. It is not predictable There was at least one twist that I not only didn't see coming, but even after it happened I flat out didn't believe it. I was still waiting for it to curve back around to what I was expecting. And that does not happen to me very often. Meghan March has a new fan in me. I need to read more of her books because I freakin' loved Bad Judgment.
