This was an intriguing book with supernatural elements I wasn’t expecting.

Joe Thorne is the protagonist and honestly, I couldn’t find a way to like him but I think that was entirely intentional. He made dreadful decisions and never seemed to learn. Also, his constant humour as a defence mechanism was annoying!

However, this didn’t take away too much from the story and overall, it was a quick and easy read!

It was a creepy town and I absolutely wouldn’t want to visit it!
