P.S. It's Always Been You: Part 1
by Lauren Blakely
So I really enjoyed this, although it did leave off at a big part, which I get, it is supposed to! Now, this was an audiobook, and had Andi Arndt narrating the character Presley, awesomely as she always does. And Scott Eastwood narrated the male character, Hunter. And unfortunately, there’s my biggest gripe with this. It’s not that he has a bad voice. No, I actually really like his voice. But oh my gosh, does he need to learn how to read aloud! He pauses at all the wrong times, and speeds through places where there should be pauses and emphasizes words or syllables that should not be. It wasn’t anything I could fix with speeding it up, but I muddled through his parts because it was a good story at least. I think it might be his first audioboook narrating experience? So maybe he can talk to some more experienced readers, like Joe Arden, Sebastian York, etc., and get some help?
