I've seen this one on Mock Newbery lists already, and I loved Prues' past two books, but I wasn't feeling this one. I've heard some people don't like it because they find the narrator unlikable, but that wasn't my problem. I think it veered between folklore and reality a bit too often for me, and I didn't really buy the way Greta and Astri got on board the ship.
