» QUICK OVERVIEW «
Stars: ★★★☆☆
Plot: ★★★★☆
Readability: ★★★☆☆
Characters: ★★★☆☆
Writing: ★★★☆☆

» PLOT «
After moving to a new home, Coraline goes to explore her home and she finds a door that was bricked over on the other side. But one night, she sees the door is no longer bricked over and when she walks through, she finds a home and family just like hers...
The book and the movie are pretty similar... obviously.
» READABILITY «
This book wasn't particularly long or hard to read, but it was slower paced than I had originally though it would be.
» CHARACTERS «
The characters are nice, but they were less of the focus in the book.
» WRITING «
The writing isn't bad, but it's nothing special
» OVERALL «
honestly, this was pretty similar to the movie, but due to nostalgia and the visuals of the movie, I think the movie was better.
I know it's unfair to compare a book to a movie, or the movie to the book, but considering the fact that the film is more memorable (even though I watched the movie farther in the past), I think that says something about the content.
