SYNOPSIS
Hannah has spent her whole life distancing herself from her Korean half and focusing on trying to fit in. Now, her boyfriend is breaking up with her because she isn't Korean enough? On top of that, her former best friend Jacob is staying with her family this summer and Hannah hasn't spoken to him since he abandoned her for Korea at the beginning of high school.
Sure, the summer before Hannah's senior year isn't going exactly as planned, but she can ignore Jacob and win back her boyfriend. Her plan for senior year will surely come back together!
WHAT I LIKED
- The main character Hannah is a pretty realistic teenager
- The balance of funny and serious moments
- Jacob's transformation from Hannah's dorky sidekick to k-drama star
- Told from Hannah and Jacob's points of view
