My first Kingsolver. A great read about nature and its effects on people. I find Kingsolver’s writing to be very beautiful, but not too poetic or without structure, as some nature writers are. I also enjoy multiple stories within a story, and the backdrop (a small town) makes both main and supporting characters feel very quirky, kinda like the townies in Gilmore Girls.
