It Happened One Summer
by Tessa Bailey
Oh my god. I read the first few pages and was like ugh. I almost didn’t read it, like an idiot. And then I devoured it in way less than 24 hours. That was so incredibly good I can’t sort out up and down, much less my emotions. I took a bazillion screenshots of amazing quotes and I want to write them all but that would take so long.
I fell soooooo hard for Brendan. What I wouldn’t give to be taken care of by him…and I don’t mean that as an innuendo. He was a man written by a woman who didn’t come off as a man written by a woman and for that I am so grateful.
“Don’t you dare look at me like that, she said choppily. You’re the one who wanted to talk first.”
