bibilly 's review for:
Color and Light
by Sally Rooney
feeling kinda dumb for not understanding that ending. or maybe there was nothing to understand, who knows *yawns* my two (sleep deprived) brain cells surely don't. anyways, the manic pixie girl is always a no for me, but Rooney's writing makes you relate to the male main character in a surprising deep level. the real problem here is that the aura of mystery promises something that never comes. it feels like a draft, an idea a writer would flirt with and leave unpolished, without bothering to publish it.
