This book was so much fun to read. Set in a steam punk paradise of 1920s Egypt were magic is so common they have their own agency to handle things when stuff inevitably go awry. I loved that this book had so many sci-fi and fantasy references just sprinkled throughout the book which gave me a point of reference but also did not take away from the incredible world building. The MC was wonderful and the plot and mystery kept me guessing till the end! Great LGBTQ+ Representation As well.
