Never a Bride
by Amelia Grey
This was a pretty good book. The humor in it brought to mind Johanna Lindsey's Mallory novels and Julia Quinn's Bridgertons. I found the chemistry between the hero and the heroine very well written and I liked that she wasn't an empty headed socialite (even though of course there was a degree of naievte). And personally I even found the ending a bit surprising as to whom she was looking for. The ending felt a bit rushed; not necessarily thrown together but everything seemed to have gotten tied together a bit quickly but overall a pleasant read and I wouldn't mind picking it up again.
