Not quite sure how I felt about this book, as it’s genuinely one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever read. I liked the triple perspectives and seeing how the characters came together. I thought that the pandemic angle was interesting and genuinely scary given the times we’ve all recently lived through. And if you’re looking for extreme body horror in a cosmic horror context, this is your book. Similar to Caitlín R. Kiernan, though with a less experimental/hallucinatory vibe.
