Imogen, Obviously
by Becky Albertalli
emotional
lighthearted
fast-paced
very cute coming-of-age story! i loved the dive into "am i queer enough?" in an authentic way
a lot of texting and ~discourse~ on a variety of LGBTQIA+ issues including bierasure/biphobia, coming out, identity validation, and entitlement to other's identities (especially celebrities)
heartbreaking that Gretchen (who I HATED) will always be the first person imogen came out to but their character does explore the toxicity in queer people invalidating others identities
