One day in December, Laurie spots a handsome man waiting on a bus bench through her bus window.
Laurie doesn't believe in love at first sight, but when she sees Jack on that bench things change. Jack noticed Laurie as well, but didn't get on the bus in time so for a year Laurie searched for Jack hoping she'll find him. Then one year later in December, she meets her best friend, Sarah's new boyfriend, and it's Jack. The book tells the story through of these three through their years of relationships and friendship.

This was a cute love story. I don't read a lot of stories like this, but I enjoyed it. I wanted these characters to find happiness and felt that the story line was realistic. I would recommend this to people who like contemporary romance novels.
