4/5 (physical book)

Jason Tharp came to the school I work for and gave a presentation on his book the day it was released. It was really interesting to hear his thought process behind this story, and to hear about his journey into becoming an author.

Again, I thought this book had a really important message to pass along to its readers - enjoy who you are and embrace being unique. This is something that everyone could use reminding of every now and then.

I also really enjoy the illustrations in this book because they look like they were draw with the image of excited, diverse readers in mind. The colors are so vibrant and fun!
