I enjoyed this, and I think this series has the potential to be amazing. There is a good mix of everything you want in a fantasy romance series. Diem is a strong FMC, even though, at times, she is annoyingly in denial. There is a love triangle between Henri and Luther, and, of course, the possibility of enemies to lovers. A world built of politics and power that needs to be reformed. There's the mystery of her father and her mother's disappearance. There is a good ensemble of characters, both mortal and Descended. The only reason it's not five stars is because I guessed the big "reveal" from the beginning.
