I was in love with this story from very first meeting. I loved Alice and Reagan’s meet cute, he ran her right over, and I mean literally ran her over.

Alice was always full of sass and she kept Reagan on his toes. She really made him work for it. Reagan didn’t let that deter him, if anything it made him even more determined to spend time with Alice and to help her, especially since he was the reason she was injured. I loved the back and forth between the two of them.

Their chemistry was amazing. They had that friendly banter to start off with and then it developed into something more. This was a SLOW, SLOW, SLOW BURN but it was worth the wait because once they finally admit to each other how they feel and fully give into the attraction it was HOT.

Both Reagan and Alice’s group of friends were fantastic and added to the story. I LOVE Zoe, she is the queen of sass. Dora and Dallas may be my favorites and I’m crossing my fingers for those two!

I was not expecting this book to be so emotional, but man, it really got to me towards the end. I felt for Reagan and Alice. I wanted to punch Reagan for being such a jerk about it, but at the same time it was hard to hate him for everything that he was experiencing. My heart broke for Alice throughout the entire situation.

This is a fantastic new adult romance, with some sports mixed into it. I can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series!
