The best part of this book is how Kevin Cook connects Waco to the modern militia movement, the Oklahoma City bombing, and InfoWars. The chapters on Koresh and the standoff are well-written yet concise, and I didn’t get bogged down by all the names and events. I also really appreciated his conversations with the people who actually lived in Mt. Carmel, Clive Doyle, David Thibodeau, Sheila Martin, and Heather Jones.
