I've read several "fake fiance" books and this was one of my favorite. It's well written, funny, and light hearted. There wasn't a lot of analyzing or self doubt to drag this story down.

If you read this as a stand alone, there is no doubt you will adore Chris. However if you read this as a series you will appreciate his personal growth.

Chris reminds me of Deadpool. His humor and carefree attitude is annoying but not frustrating. I liked that he was able to project an alpha male aura without the usual stubbornness and irrational jealousy that usually comes with it.

Belle wasn't anything special for me. However from personal experience when you have one half of a couple that has a strong personality, you need the other half to be more rational and laid back. She was a realist and I did appreciate that.

It was a solid story and a good read. This would be perfect for a flight.
