I CRYYYYYY. This was so good!! For some reason, I'd been avoiding this book a bit because the premise didn't immediately grab me and I haven't been in a contemporary mood much, but WOW I'm so glad I saw the audiobook and took a chance. This was such a heartwarming story!

Liz was captivating. I loved her so much. Seeing her so out of her comfort zone during the campaign was really entertaining, though the true magic of this story lies in the relationships. Liz and Mack were so cute together! I liked how Liz was really confident in her sexuality and identity and that we just got to dive into their relationship fairly quickly. I adored the bond between Liz and her brother so much. Some great friendships as well! I loooved how Liz's friendship with Jordan was explored and renewed. I thought they were adorable and I'm so happy he didn't turn into anything romantic, it was just really great friendship, my FAVE! I also really liked how Liz cultivated friendships with the other girls running for queen, like Quinn! It was absolutely great to see girls just being nice to each other (with the obvious exception of Rachel, who can choke).

Overall, just an amazing book. I can't believe I hadn't wanted to read it at first. I was totally crying by the end and my heart just felt really full. :)
