This series went by so quickly! Another great book by one of my favorite authors. Piper returns to this small island she used to visit all the time with her best friend when they were younger, but she hasn't been back in a decades, since the death of that best friend. Now she’s trying to build a new life for herself, reopening up a resort. She meets Hunter, who has experienced similar loss and they bond over it. The romance is really sweet and emotional and I loved how protective Hunter was over Piper. There’s suspense and mystery with someone trying to destroy Piper and her resort. It’s a good mix of romance and suspense so if you like those two things plus small towns, you’ll probably enjoy this book.
