Two idiotic protagonists, a surprisingly racist narrative considering the male protagonist is half Native American, way more plots than Michaels can handle, and a lot of weirdness ("imp" is not a cute pet name, I don't care what timeline your story is in) make for a supremely unsatisfactory romance.
